ANANDA KHAN--- Makeup Artist, Hair Stylist, Beauty Writer.

Ananda is a Virginia native and moved to New York City in 1999. Her passion for literature, travel and a love for the cityscape consistently inform Ananda's makeup and hair design.

Her work in advertising and television include clients like Saatchi and Saatchi, McGerry Bowen, Vh1, SoapnetTV and PBS. She has been published in L'uomo Vogue, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes Magazine, Fortune Small Business, The Knot Bridal Magazine and SET Magazine. Some of her fashion clients include Laila Ahzar, Report Shoes, and Luxurie by LRG.

Her career has been minted by collaborations with respected photographers like James Porto, Dan Winters, Fernando Milani, Erik Madigan Heck and Jesse Frohman for both commercial and fine art projects.

Ananda holds a B.A. in English Creative writing and marries her two great loves to pen beauty articles for SET Magazine. She also attends the Arrojo Institute and is working to master her work in hair.

In her downtime, Ananda takes advantage of the City University arts program. There, she sculpts, designs furniture and studies a variety of 3-D design. She also plays the violin in an amateur orchestra.

New York City is her home base but she is also a master escape artist, traveling to more than twenty international destinations and counting.
